Honey Project,Background and Contribute Needs.

BACKGROUND

It is true Tanzania has perfect and very good environment for producing high quality bee products, According to Beekeeping Regulation, 2005 Part II, Section 4 (1) and Section 6, apiaries must be established at least Seven kilometers away from agriculture areas that’s make use of intensive chemical, pesticides and insecticides and away from industrial sites, in order to control chemical contaminations in honey.

In our itumba area which is near the boundary of Rungwa Game Reserve there are abundant plant species that produce nectar and pollen for honeybees.

The itumba area is far from town, city’s, and industrial areas and we are not farming anything than reserve it and improve environments, and has natural water stream, different natural plants, flowers and even more from Game reserve which is boundary with.
